Installation

Windows

  1. Download Silkworm2047Setup-X.Y.Z.exe and check its SHA-256.
  2. Run the installer. It installs for your user only, with no administrator rights.
  3. The installer is not code-signed yet: Windows SmartScreen may warn you. Click “More info” and then “Run anyway”.
  4. To uninstall, use “Add or remove programs”.

Linux

Extract the package into a permanent folder and create the desktop entry (it also registers silkworm:// links to join rooms from the website):

It installs for your user only and updates itself when you close the game.

Arch Linux

Install the package with pacman (it installs into /opt/silkworm-2047):

When there is a new version, the game tells you and shows the command to update.

Android

  1. Download silkworm2047-X.Y.Z.apk on the phone (or copy it over from your computer).
  2. Open it. Android will ask you to allow installing apps from this source (the browser or file manager): turn it on.
  3. If Play Protect warns that the app is unknown, tap “More details” and “Install anyway”.
  4. Requires Android 9 or later on an ARM64 processor. The game updates from inside and always asks you to confirm.
