Acceptance

These terms govern the use of the silkworm.xmassoftware.com website, accounts, online features and the Silkworm 2047 game, offered by XMAS Software, whose owner appears in the legal notice. By registering or using the service you accept them, together with the privacy policy. When you register we store the version of the texts you accept.

A free game

Silkworm 2047 is free: no payments, no in-game purchases and no ads. Playing solo needs no account. An account is needed for online co-op, friends, rooms, the leaderboard and to download and update the game.

Accounts

• You must be at least 14 years old.
• One account per person. Details must be truthful and the email must be yours; you need to verify it to use online features and downloads.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe. If you suspect unauthorised access, change it; that closes every session.
• Nicknames must be respectful and must not impersonate anyone, including the Silkworm 2047 team.

Conduct in public rooms and chat

Play fair and treat others with respect. In public rooms with strangers there are only predefined quick messages; free text chat is only between friends, with a word filter, reporting and blocking. The following is forbidden:

• Harassing, insulting, threatening or discriminating, and hate messages.
• Sending spam, advertising or malicious links.
• Cheating: third-party programs that give an advantage, modifying the game or its communications, automating runs or submitting fake times.
• Deliberately exploiting game bugs instead of reporting them.
• Repeatedly abandoning or sabotaging other players’ runs.
• Sharing other people’s personal data, including their IP address.

You can block any player: a blocked player cannot invite you, message you or send you notifications.

Co-op runs

Co-op runs use no match servers: one of the two players hosts the run on their own computer and the other connects directly to it. That is why each player can see the other’s IP address. If you do not want to share it, play solo or only with trusted friends.

The host keeps the progress (weapons, money and level). If the connection drops, the game tries to reconnect for one minute and the bot drives the vehicle meanwhile.

Leaderboard

Times are submitted with your session and go through plausibility checks. The team may invalidate any record it considers fraudulent or the result of a bug, and may reset the tables if the game balance changes.

Moderation and sanctions

Depending on severity and repetition, the team may hide messages, change an inappropriate nickname, invalidate times, close your sessions, suspend the account temporarily or ban it permanently. Every suspension states its reason and, if temporary, its end date. You can ask for a review at info@silkworm.xmassoftware.com.

Game licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable and free licence to install and use the game for non-commercial purposes.

• You may not redistribute, sell, rent or publish the game or its files; share it by linking to this website.
• You may not decompile, reverse engineer or modify the game, except where the law expressly allows it.
• Included third-party resources (3D models, typefaces, audio) are governed by their licences and may only be used within the game.
• On start, the game checks for a new version and may download and install it; an old version may stop connecting online.

Service availability

Silkworm 2047 is offered as is. There may be bugs, balance changes, interruptions and resets of statistics or leaderboards. Online services (accounts, rooms, leaderboard and downloads) may stop working at any time; with the game installed, solo play will keep working.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for indirect damage or loss of progress caused by errors or interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer protection law.

Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. We will publish the new version with its date and, for relevant changes, announce it on the website or in the game. If you disagree, you can delete your account.

Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from My account → My data. Deletion is immediate and irreversible; the privacy policy explains what is erased.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes will be heard by the competent courts under the applicable rules; if you are a consumer, those of your place of residence.
